ARTISTS BIOGRAPHY

Anne has been a practicing artist since 1988 when she gained a Fine Art BA Hons Degree followed by a teaching certificate.       After moving to Australia in 1995, she continued teaching in Further Education and studied for M.A. of Art Therapy at University of Western Sydney. Anne has worked in Mental Health Units, Ecumenical Groups and in a Women’s Detention Centre.

With her family grown up Anne is now able to spend more time painting and writing in her studio at the Cumberland Studios N.22. She has written and illustrated a small children’s teaching and colouring book. It is based on the Quaker testimonies relevant to us all - Peace, Equality, Truth and Simplicity. ‘A Book About PETS,‘ sells at the Quaker bookshop 173 Euston Road London NW1 2BJ.
